Photogrammetry
JRLA uses advanced photogrammetry methods to reconstruct vehicle motion paths and site conditions from videos and photographs.
3D Interactive Computer Models From Images for Accident Analysis
Photogrammetry is, quite simply, the science of making measurements from images. In some accident cases, security cameras or locomotive DVR's capture some portion of an accident on video.
JRLA uses computer reverse projection photogrammetry, which takes images from videos and photographs and converts them into interactive 3D models that can be used to recreate and study an accident in the virtual environment.
